Why make your own

Why Making Your Own Brine Is Smart

Anti-icing with brine is one of the fastest ways for a snow & ice operation to cut material costs and reduce liability — but only if the equipment makes it easy. Here’s what the Brine Master® solves:

Salt costs too much and prices swing. Pre-treating with brine uses a fraction of the salt of reactive spreading.
DIY tank-and-pump setups are a hassle. Sourcing and plumbing separate parts is a project most crews don’t want.
Slip-and-fall liability on commercial lots. Pre-treating reduces ice bonding, callbacks, and claims.
Getting the concentration right is intimidating. Weak brine doesn’t work; strong brine clogs. The right mix matters.
Gear that fails mid-storm costs accounts. You need equipment that’s ready at 3 a.m., every time.
Brine has to be ready fast. You can’t wait hours to mix a batch before a storm rolls in.
Features & Benefits

The Brine Master® Difference

Questions buyers ask

Brine Master® FAQ

What is the Camion Brine Master®?

The Brine Master® is an all-in-one salt brine maker that lets snow and ice contractors produce their own liquid brine on site. It combines a mixing tank, prewired plug-and-play electronics, and a rugged stainless frame in a single unit, so you can make consistent, ready-to-spray brine without sourcing and plumbing separate components.

How much salt can I save by making my own brine?

Anti-icing with brine uses far less salt than reactive rock-salt spreading because you pre-treat surfaces before the storm. Making brine in-house also removes the markup of buying pre-made brine, lowering your material cost per event.

What salt concentration should brine be for snow and ice control?

The most effective salt brine is mixed to roughly a 23.3% salt-to-water concentration — the eutectic point for sodium chloride. Too weak and it won’t perform; too strong and salt drops out and clogs equipment. The Brine Master® 3000’s Salt-Exact™ salinity reader helps you hit the right concentration on every batch.

How hard is the Brine Master® to set up and operate?

It’s designed to be plug-and-play. The integrated mixing tank and prewired electronics let you make brine right out of the box with minimal labor, and a central control station keeps all valves in one place so any crew member can run it.

Will the Brine Master® hold up to salt and winter conditions?

Yes. It’s built with a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel frame and poly hopper to resist the corrosion that destroys cheaper equipment, and it avoids finicky automated sensors that fail in the cold — keeping acquisition and ownership costs low.

Who is the Brine Master® for?

It’s built for snow and ice contractors, landscape contractors who run winter routes, facilities managers, and municipalities that want to produce their own brine for anti-icing and pre-treatment.
